The British Columbia Student Assistance Program is a joint Program between the Federal and Provincial Governments, administered under the Canada Student Financial Assistance Act and the BC Order-in-Council.
The application form for BCSAP is a one-stop process to apply for two kinds of funding: loans and grants. Loans include Canada Student Loan and British Columbia Student Loan. HEC is a registered school with the BCSAP.
Fellowships for Canadians to study, research and work abroad. Application is open to Canadians and permanent residents of Canada who hold at least one university degree. Fellowships are intended for study in formal post secondary programs abroad.
Indirect aid is provided for graduate students by the Income Tax Act which permits students to treat tuition fee payments as deductible from their taxable income
